We are a small family run kennel located in the beautiful rolling hills of Middle Tennessee. We strive to produce healthy, to breed standard pups, perfect for your home. All are wonderful pets and some have competed and done well at conformation shows. Pups are all vaccinated, guaranteed, socialized, and if I may say so, gorgeous.
We raise standard poodles.
Standard poodles are the regal kings and queens of the dog world. They are gentle souls who live to please. My poodle pups are sired by Cashmere Blue Southernstyle. He is a UKC Champion and he knows it. He passes on to his pups his proud carriage, gorgeous color, and remarkably beautiful face. Several of his get have competed and done well in the show ring. If you are seeking a friend, agility partner, or conformation winner please take a peek at my pups. Standard pups are all AKC registered and eligible to be UKC registered.

I am very proud of our momma's and poppa's and the quality of pups they produce. I am the primary person here at Southernstyle although my 4 live in grandchildren do a wonderful job at socializing our babies. Since my grand children are adopted, each puppy goes through the adoption process by them as well. Pups are usually claimed with in one day and your puppy will come to you used to children and people loving. All pups are born under my watchful eye. My background in nursing enables me to be a great midwife. We vaccinate and worm on a strict veterinarian recommended schedule and all pups are vet checked before they leave my home. AFTER SHOWING PUPPIES AND HEARING HOW MUCH CUTER MY PUPPIES ARE THEN THE LAST 3 PLACES A FAMILY HAS STOPPED, I BEGAN TO WONDER WHAT THEY MAY BE CARRYING ON THEIR SHOES ONTO MY PROPERTY. WHAT WERE MY PUPPIES GOING TO BE EXPOSED TO?
WHEN 2 FELLOW BREEDERS, WHO HAD NEVER HAD PARVO, ENDED UP WITH PARVO AT THEIR KENNELS DAYS AFTER FAMILIES VISITED TO LOOK AT PUPPIES, I REALLY BEGAN TO THINK ABOUT IT.
I VACCINATE AND FOLLOW A STRICT WORMING PROGRAM. BUT PLEASE RESEARCH AND SEE HOW IMMUNITY IS BUILT AND HOW EVEN VACCINATED PUPPIES CAN GET PARVO BETWEEN WANING PASSIVE IMMUNITY AND THE VACCINATIONS KICKING IN.
I WILL NO LONGER TAKE THE RISK OF ALLOWING PEOPLE FULL RUN OF MY PROPERTY WHILE PATHOGENS MAY BE BEING SPREAD TO MY BABIES.
IF YOU WANT TO VISIT I MAY ASK YOU TO FOLLOW STRICT PREVENTATIVE MEASURES. PLEASE WEAR CLEAN SHOES YOU ARE WILLING TO DIP IN BLEACH WATER YOU WILL BE ASKED TO WASH YOUR HANDS IN A DISINFECTANT. I MAY LIMITED YOU TO ONE AREA OF MY PROPERTY. AND PLEASE DON'T COME HERE AFTER VISITING OTHER BREEDERS OR ANIMAL RESCUES.
I WILL MAKE NO EXCEPTIONS FOR THE SAFETY OF MY PUPPIES. NEVER AGAIN WILL I WAIT IN CONCERN FOR DAYS UNTIL THE INCUBATION PERIOD IS SAFELY OVER, WONDERING IF SOME CARELESS GUEST BROUGHT A DEADLY DISEASE TO MY HOME.
